" When I first came to see Kim I had lost about 50 lbs following a diet program that was successful. I had kept it off for approximately 2 years but really struggled to maintain. All I could think about was food. The problem was I was smaller but I was still frumpy and not satisfied. I needed help. I was referred to Endorphines Fitness through a client of Kims who had complete success. I started with the bootcamps. Attended a few times and then I became very sick. After months of fighting to get out of bed and being in pain I was diagnosed with Rhumatic Fever! I came to Kim with my diagnosis as I knew that there had to be a way to get my body healthy so that I could heal and become stronger.
Kim took me on as a client and I started one on one sessions with her! Kim started by teaching me about food and how they affect my body and with light exercise that my joints could handle. Slowly together we started to build my stamina and my strength and along with that my confidence. In just a few very short months I am healthy! I have bounced back beautifully, I have energy and strength! My body is changing and forming into that body I always dreamed of having! I believe that without Kim's support I would still be struggling to get out of bed!
When we first started this journey I could not even do 1 sit up! Today I can do 50 and I have no doubt that soon enough I will be able to do 100! What I realized today as I was sitting on the beach feeling CONFIDENT and BEAUTIFUL in a bikini for the FIRST time in my life is that Endorphines Fitness (Kim) does not just teach you and help you with your fitness level what she does goes beyond that! she teaches you about how you feel about you! She helps you see your own potential!
Kims automatic belief in my ability is why I am where I am today! She saw something I was not able to see and she opened me up to that! This is what is important in life! Being the best version of yourself and with people like Kim out there following her passion helping others see the best versions of themselves the world can not help but become a better place! Kim truly cares about your success and your health and she has such a wealth of knowledge!
I have a ways to go yet and I have absolutely NO doubt that Kim will guide me there! I am truly grateful that our paths have crossed and I look forward to each workout I have because I leave feeling not only physically wonderful but enlightened and motivated to do my best and be my best! Thank-you Kim you are one of a kind!"

"My fitness journey all started in 2011 when I decided to compete in my first ever bikini competition. My sister and I set goals for ourselves and decided we were going to compete in the spring of 2012. After months of training and dieting I found myself only a few weeks from competition and I did not feel that I was where I needed to be in order to make myself proud on stage. I had not responded well to the diet and training program that my particular coach had me following. 3 weeks out from competition I decided I needed to change coaches. This is when I first came to Kim. She helped me through one of, if not the toughest times of my life. I was only weeks away from stepping on stage and my step-dad had just been admitted to the palliative care ward at the Pasqua hospital. Five days before my first competition I lost one of my best friends, my step-dad Dirk. He passed away after a long battle with mulitple myleoma. Somehow, with the love and support of Kim and my family and friends, I found the strength to step out on stage that day and hold my head high. I get tears in my eyes thinking back to that morning before heading out on stage, Kim gave me a big hug and told me how beautiful I looked and how proud she was of me. That is a moment I will never forget. At that moment I knew Kim was a special person and I knew that she had changed my life forever. I knew Dirk was looking down on me and was so proud I was able to accomplish my goal.
After my first competition I struggled with the post-competition blues. I was young and wanted to go out and party and have fun with my friends and family. I had lost my identity. I wasn’t “dieting” anymore so I felt I could eat whatever I wanted. After months of eating and drinking whatever I wanted I found myself 20 pounds heavier than my stage weight. I was even heavier than I was before I had started training in 2011. I was devastated. I had no idea what to do. So again, I went to Kim for advice.
In February 2013 I had finally had enough. I was embarrassed with my body and knew I needed to make a change. I was working out but my diet was out of control. I was eating cookies and fast food and felt like garbage. I knew I needed to set a goal for myself and work hard to reach it. This is when I decided to compete in another bikini competition. I wanted to do it right this time from the beginning and I knew that I could improve on the package that I brought to the stage in 2012. My Auntie Shawna is also coached by Kim, and she motivated me and helped to reassure me that I could take the next step and do this. I met up with Kim and she believed in me. I was a little skeptical at first because I felt like I was so far away from where I wanted to be that I couldn’t possibly be ready to go on stage in 20 weeks. But Kim made me feel like I could do anything I set my mind to.
I worked my butt off, literally, for 20 weeks. I did not miss a workout or skip a meal. I was so dedicated and focused. I trusted the process. I knew Kim had my back and she was in my corner. She was there for me whenever I needed her (which was a lot!). I felt amazing stepping on stage in October 2013, I was so proud to show off the body I worked so hard for.
I had a much smoother transition into offseason after my second competition. Kim set me up with an offseason program and met with me often to see how I was doing. We would run stairs together or meet up for a quick workout. We talked nearly every day as I slowly made clean eating my lifestyle. Kim has helped teach me that this is not a diet, it is a lifestyle. This is something that is maintainable. I feel so much better when I eat clean, whole foods and avoid processed sugars. I love working out and feel that I am stronger now than I have ever been.
I still have my struggles every now and then but when I do, I know that Kim is always there for me. I cannot express what a difference this amazing woman has made in my life. I don’t know where I would be without her. She is such a loving and positive influence in my life. Seeing her brightens my day and I when I leave I feel rejuvenated and ready to take on the world.
Kim you are one of the most amazing women I have ever met. I am blessed to have you in my life. Thank you for being such a huge part of my journey and for being such a great friend. I love you so much! "

A lot of people go to Kim to get in shape, lose weight, or train for sports. I went to Kim to improve my life.
With a busy work and family life, I had allowed myself to get out of shape and picked up some bad eating habits along the way.
After dealing with ongoing headaches and struggling with fatigue, I decided it was time to do something about it. I wanted more energy to play with my kids and enjoy my life to the fullest. Kim came highly recommended by a number of people, so I took the leap and gave her a call.
After my first meeting Kim, I knew things were going to change for the better. After talking about my goals, we worked on a diet and fitness plan to meet my specific needs. I’ve been attending private and group sessions with Kim for the past four months and have noticed a lot of improvements in my life. My headaches have disappeared, I have more energy, and feel stronger than ever before. My wife even notices that I’ve become much more toned! As a bonus, I’ve met lots of great people and now look forward to working out.
I want to thank Kim for everything she has done for me and I would strongly encourage anyone to give her a try. Not only is Kim professional, experienced, and knowledgeable, but she cares a lot about her clients and brings an incredible amount of passion to her work.

I started training with Kim and Endorphin Fitness Studios in September 2012 after being recommended by a family member. I wanted to train for a SABBA competition and had been told of the importance of finding the right trainer. Being only able to commit to travelling to Regina once a month, I was somewhat concerned about having a trainer 4 hours away. Kim instantly made me feel like she was always there with me. Workouts, menu plan and weekly photos were emailed back and forth. Most importantly though, were the text conversations we would have weekly or at times daily.
Kim trained me through a three-month injury and although at times I thought I should quit training she never stopped believing that time would heal and we could be ready for competition.
Kim was tough when I needed it. She taught me the value of hard work and dedication.
She was a coach never wavering in her belief of my potential or ability.
She gave me strength and confidence. I am not the same person I was before.
Now most importantly, although its still another week until competition, I know I have already won. I have survived the journey and grown as a person. I could not have done it without her.
Love you Kim! You are a treasured friend and coach.
Respect,
Shawna Douglas
"I have known and been training with Kim for about a year and a half now and have seen my body transform in ways I never thought possible. I have been sore in places I didn't even know I could be sore in! But the biggest change in the shortest amount of time came in January of this year.
It was around Christmas when Kim challenged me to a 21 day sugar detox with her. She said we would start on January 1st to get the new year off to a good start. I accepted the challenge right away thinking this could be a good jump start to healthier eating as I was doing good in the gym and not so good in the kitchen. I never over-ate or ate extremely unhealthy foods but I was under-eating and eating too many carbs. During the 21 day sugar detox I learned just how many food items contain a ton of sugar! With Kim's support and knowledge I was able to push through the 21 days.
With my regular training sessions with Kim five days a week and playing basketball once a week I could not believe the changes! Kim at Endorphin Fitness is not only knowledgable in the gym but she is completely knowledgable in the kitchen too! Kim has taught me that being fit is not just about how hard you work in the gym but how aware you are of the foods you are putting into your body as well. Kim is truly an expert and an inspiration! She knew that this 21 day challenge was exactly what I needed to amp up my health and fitness.
So Kim - thank you for everything and all that you continue to do for me. I am so lucky that over the past year and a half I found an incredibly amazing and knowledgable trainer but am forever greatful that I have gained a life long friend. Here is to many more sweat sessions in the gym, coffees and baking in the kitchen, long talks, crying and giggles, and encouragement and support in and out of the gym. Training with you at Endorphin Fitness Studio is like training at grandma's house - you are always welcome even if you have been bad at coming around, you know you will be supported and encouraged unconditionally, you get a stern look or talking too when your not pulling your own weight, and you can truly be yourself!"
